Matt joined McAlister Real Estate in May of 2011, bringing fresh ideas, new energy, and nearly a decade of experience to the company's real estate team. Specializing in land brokerage in the Greater Houston Area, Matt represents his clients on both the buying and selling side of transactions. His flexibility and expertise has led him to broker deals involving sites for retail, school, church and multi-family development, as well as, redevelopment sites, residential sites, investment land, single-family lot sales, and disposition of surplus land.

Before joining McAlister Real Estate, Matt spent 9 years working for Grubb & Ellis Company, where he served on the Houston Grubb & Ellis Board of Directors and was recognized for his outstanding work with awards, such as, 2003 Rookie of the Year. He is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors and, as a native Houstonian, a proud supporter of Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC), Baylor College of Medicine, and various other non-profit organizations. Matt received a Bachelors degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of Episcopal High School of Houston.
